Hi, my name is Lou and I hope you'll like this little project enough so I can keep telling the world to Fuck Off and Eat Shit. Of course, I've usually just mumbled that to myself, but I'm getting old and I just don't care anymore what other people think. I take that back. If I really didn't care, I guess I wouldn't use Braille. Oh well, life is a paradox, so you may as well have as much fun as you can for as long as you can.
Why did I start this project? Well, in the mid-90's, I designed a new art form that was a combination of Braille and Numerology readings of a person's full name that I thought looked cool and was very unique, since your full name is pretty unique and the dot patterns are equally unique. I called it "Bra-Numero-Art".
I made them for friends and family as gifts. Of course, most of the people that I gave them to just said, "Oh thanks, that's different". They did not see it as "Art" (well, maybe they did, but didn't like my art, but I don't care.) I thought they were and are cool and unique, just like you and I are cool and unique.
I may reactivate that project since I still think it looks cool and Numerology is kinda cool too. (I'm not a believer in Numerology or Astrology, but it's fun and interesting to see which of the 9 numerology personalities you are. And if you know me, you know I like fun and interesting.)
Anyways... that project has been sitting on a shelf for a while and I decided to do something new and different (aka: fun and interesting) with Braille and came up with the idea of "Wear-a-Swear". I figured if I liked it, maybe you would too so here I am with Blind Obscenitees.
